It's a uni-directional design with a warm, smooth tone and on par with any quality Condenser mic from over the years. This would be ideal for singing or broadcasting and the physical condition of the mic is actually quite nice. It was well taken care of over the years. It has a nice painted metal body with a metal front grill. There is no physical wear on the painted handle and just as nice as you could possibly ask for.
The front grill is free of any tarnish, dents or odors. Just a couple subtle scuff marks.
The mic is appx 8 inches long X 2 inches wide at the tip of the grill but fairly lite weight and easy to hold for prolonged periods. The mic takes a standard Double A battery that is placed in the handle. Access is provided by unscrewing the entire front globe.
This mic has a perfect working on / off switch. The XLR pins have been cleaned and the inner foam pop filter / wind screen looks like new.The mic comes with the original Audio Technica model mic clip that shows very lite wear and works perfectly giving the mic a wide degree of tilt. It grips the mic firmly as well. The short cable is also included. It's soft, pliable and just 4 1/2 feet in length. It comes with the standard male 1/4 inch end connector.
This cable will work with most audio equipment. The black vinyl mic case is in great condition and used to protect the mic outside of the case. It shows extremely lite wear and has a perfect foam insert to keep all the contents safe and snug. A great package deal all around but it's the sound quality that's going to impress you. MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IN THE PHOTO IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE...
