Audio Technica AT895 Delta Beam. This is the perfect microphone for recording audio at extreme distances. Designed by Audio Technica as an improvement over parabolic style mics the AT895 Delta Beam uses 5 capsules and advanced filtering algorithms to significantly reject off-axis sound up to 80 dB!
So you can capture fuller spectrum sound at from very long distances when compared to standard shotgun mics. This package is also in full working order and has been tested to perform as expected.
The 9V battery housing is cosmetically damaged, as seen in the pictures, but it still powers the DeltaBeam pack properly and is functional. When I bought this mic from the previous owner the damage to the plastic had already been done.
I've used a small piece of gaff tape to keep the battery housing closed and it's worked for me. The unit can also be powered by standard 4 Pin XLR power sources, although those power cables are not included here. The item "Super Long Range Shotgun Mic Audio Technica AT895 Delta Beam RARE FIND" is in sale since Friday, March 13, 2020.
