I'll start by saying.. Im not a fan of Blue's cheaper mics like the baby bottle, bluebird, blueberry, etc.

This mic is NOT one of those. This is truly a wonderful, elegant, lush mic that excelled on practically everything we put it on. Blue designed this mic and its capsule to bring forth a classic valve tone very much like the best vintage mics like U47 and the 251.

It has all that as well as a modern and elegant top end. It ALL works and sounds great, as it should. It all looks great as well aside from scuffs on the outer road case. We have only used it in studio. This mic is excellent for any studio's mic locker. Its sure to add something great to any session.
