The ATW-13F works with two frequency bands, the Duplex gap (824 - 831 MHz) as well as the ISM band (863 - 865 MHz), and has four free frequencies at its disposal for each. Besides your handheld microphones, for instance, you could add a body pack or a wireless guitar system.
A wireless system offers many advantages over a wired one; faulty or damaged wires are a thing of the past, and connection is quick and easy without having to deal with cables. On the other hand, a wireless system has its draw-backs; choosing the right frequency is very important, for example.
