It's Line + gradient polar pattern is designed to provide narrow acceptance angle for use in professional recording, broadcasting, film/ TV/video production, high-quality sound reinforcement and other demanding applications requiring excellent sound rejection from the sides and rear. Works on phantom power only (9-52V) over XLR connector.

Around 18 long, so it is a very long length microphone. Has High Pass Filter to eliminate low end rumble and wind noise.
